Congratulations. The growth is impressive and so is the thickness.
Now, the question everyone has: How did you do it? Regimen? Come on...you can tell us...
For those who asked about my regimine, I'm sorry it's taken this long to respond. Computer crashed right after I originally posted this.
First just let me say that I really don't consider what I do a real regimine b/c it changes so much according to what my hair needs but here are the things that I do.
I usally wash my hair once every week, sometimes more.
I use DE moisture retention shampoo
DC with ORS replenishing or Joico K-Pac
I use the DE instant express condish as a rinse.
I don't towel dry my hair unless I'm blowdrying and even then I only blot the water from my hair.
I then add my leave in's which now are DE styling lotion, rusk smoother leave in and CHI silk infusion. I use very small amounts of these. Too much would weigh my hair down, which I don't like.
I then either blow dry with my Yellow Bird Professional blow dryer and hot curl with my ION ceramic curler or I rollerset on the large grey rollers and sit under my Select Pro-Gold soft bonnet dryer. After I take the rollers out I straighten the roots and any stray hairs with my curling iron, wrap and tie my silk scarf.
I may add a little raw 100% shea butter or unrefined coconut oil to my ends only during the week. Other than that I don't use moisturizers on my hair. I've found that I don't really need them when I use good conditioners. They just weigh my hair down. I like a lot of movement.
My hair loves protein so I do regular Joico reconstructor treatments and Aphogee hard core when I notice breakage. I also use porosity control when needed as well.
I also firmly believe in trimming, I know it's frowned upon by some but for me, my hair thrives with regular trims. No split ends or ends that "catch" on themselves. I hate that.
Well that just about sums everthing up. Hope this helps someone.
