3 months max for any protective style. And I know part of that ladies issues is she probably never washed it, which can make the matting worse

However... I can't believe that lady's hair is just coming off like that. Crazy. Why would you not wash a part of you body (scalp) for a year? Crazy. That's a major hygiene issue.

Ok I lied and I looked. It wasn't that bad lol. But why do that to yourself. This is why I grew my own hair. Chicks running around all ****ed up because they can't pay to get they hair did, don't know how to do their own, and won't take their weaves out until they can get a new one.

I'm so confused by this... so her actual hair shed into a mat to which the weave was attached? Then how did the whole thing not fall off altogether? Or did the hair stylist cut through it first, and that is what we are seeing?
