Okay first let me say that I have finally reached brastrap (I know I need to update my pics). I have had the hardest time detangling. My hair is so curly and long in the back that I just use my fingers and braid or twist without fully detangling. I am afraid of how much harder it will be when my front grows in just as long.
So I was talking to my hairdresser today who also happens to be my pastor's wife about it. She said she had a dream that she put a relaxer in someones hair and just smoothed it through once and when she rinsed it, the person's hair did not take. She laughed saying it must have been me because she said that's how my hair would probably react. Then she got serious and explained the process to me.
I really do trust her because she has always been supportive of my natural hair journey and gives awesome trims not chops. I say all of this to get your input. If I could find something that would make detangling easier or just help me. I do love my natural hair but it is really stressing me. TIA Q
