Anyone here does his method? If so, have you noticed great results??? And what oils are you using? TIA.
For those who don’t know, it’s basically a way to finesse your curls and have them more defined w/ shine and luster. Also been said to help prevent split ends and single strand knots. (See detailed regimen under photos)

ETA pics of what the method looks like on him (first three pics are before, and last three pics are after)

ETA: His regimen summed up (thanks to @Theresamonet ):
What he does is:
1. Rinse and detangles his hair every day in the shower. He detangles with several tools while smoothing into a style (buns, ponys, pigtails).
2. The tools he uses ranges from a rake comb, vented brush, denman brush, fine tooth combs, and a soft boar bristle brush. There really is no order to which brushes he uses. He just does what’s needed to get his hair as smooth as possible. It seems like a rake or vented brush-> denman-> boar brush is his average combo. He does not like a regular wide tooth comb because it does not smooth, but promotes frizz.
3. After his hair is completely smooth, he tops with oil and then ties is down with a satin scar to set his waves.
4. Every 3 days he does an oil rinse. He applies the oil to his hair and scalp overnight or no less than an hour before his wash. Then he co-washes the oil out. Old school co-washing with a rinse out conditioner. He then follows the above steps.
5. He washes with shampoo. I can’t tell how exactly how often, I’m estimating that he shampoos every 6-8 days. That routine is oil rinse-> shampoo-> detangle with conditioner->style. He’s just discovered cleansing conditioners, so he’s been using that in place of shampoo as his wash in his more recent videos.
6. He does not normally use any leave in or gels in his hair. Just oils and water. Recently it appears he’s been getting contacted by different brands so he’s incorporated some leave-ins and gels into the routine. But he’s big on not weighting down and overly coating the hair.
7. He does not deep condition.
8. He seems to give more credit to the daily rinsing and detangling and setting his waves, than to just oil rinsing.
9. He insists that the water temperature must be hot (not scalding) while doing all of this.
