I so need this! After I hit APL and got "that long hurr", I've been abusing my flat iron. I need to get back to basics and apply the techniques that got me there in the first place!!
To Join the Challenge answer these questions
1. Are you doing challenge level 1 (heat every three months), challenge level 2 (heat every six months), challenge level 3 ( No heat in 2013)
-Challenge Level 2 or 3. I maaaaaay sneak in a flat iron session depending on where I go for vacation. If I'm in a place or with people where I can't be hogging the bathroom and spending tons of time on my hair, I'm gonna flat iron before I go. I'll attempt to rollerset before resorting to the flat iron, though.
2. Have you ever done a no heat challenge before?
-I can't remember. I think I did, but failed.
3. Do you plan to trim your ends without heat?
-I have a pair of shears that I'll be using to S&D occasionally, so yes!
4. Do you know How to Stretch your hair without heat?
-No, but I only use a blowdryer when rollersetting.
5. Do you plan to increase your challenge to the ultimate level by protective styling everyday?
-I usually pin up my hair for work, so I think it's possible!
5a. If not, can you commit to low manipulation styles throughout your challenge?
-Yep!
6. What do you hope to gain from this challenge?
-THAT LONG HURR!!
Aiming for MBL or longer for 2013!
7. Do you know how to do length checks without heat?
-Yep, unless there's a new technique that I'm unaware of...
