I haven't always taken this advice but going no contact is really the best way to go...
working with the person... smile vaguely at them and speak minimal words only if absolutely necessary.
the added side benefit .. on average.. no contact seems to drive a lot of men nuts... they crave feeling wanted and that women go 'crazy behind their bs... don't play into it
the pettiness can come later.. not that I'm advising that or that I have ever done that.. *whistle*
