Drinking whey protein shakes, I think this has had a lot to do with speeding up my hair growth

LOC Method - Just learned about it yesterday but it's already a keeper!
Using Shampoo (and washing once a week) - I went back from co-washing 3-5 days a week, and my hair is better than ever.
Using oils and grease - This has been wonderful for my retention. My ends sing when I seal. :)

Shea Moisture Retention Shampoo - I know lots of ladies love it. I loved how soft it made my hair and it detangled well but...I always end up with dandruff flakes in my scalp. Ugh.

Giovanni Direct Leave-in - Tried it several times and it always left my hair dry.

Giovanni Deep Moisture Condish- Left my hair all tangled

i don't mind waiting for a quality product. my hair deserves it. also, ive made products myself. i know first hand that hard work and dedication goes into making a hair product that involves more than whipping some shea and aloe. im a bit disappointed in people that dont appreciate the companies that choose to make sure they are doing everything to deliver a high quality product and not just making a sale.

A good way you can demonstrate your disappointment is by purchasing extra quantities as recompense for my absence. Unless you and said vendor share a mortgage and file joint tax returns, the issue shouldn’t be that serious to you.

I stocked up for 2012 from 40% and 50% sales aveyou.com had. There were 50% off Groupons/coupons from July - Sept 2011 and a 40% off sale 11-22-11.

Aveyou.com is suppose to have a 40%(?) off sale when they reach 1000 Twitter followers. They're at 804. So keep your eyes open for sales.

Curlmart.com and curljunkie.com had 20% sales during BF. So wait for sales and you'll be able to get what you want.

The only thing I'll have to restock in 2012 is the Pattern Pusha gel. curljunkie.com introduced this gel during their BF sale. Aveyou.com said they'll start carrying it late Dec. early Jan 2012.

Donna Marie Dream Curling Creme works for me. I wash, DC and apply a leave-in conditioner 1st, then use the curling creme to twist or braid my hair. My hair is very defined when I do a twist-out or braid-out. But, it depends on the humidity whether the style will last all day and not puff up(I live in Florida).

I haven't tried Donna Marie's MiraCurl Curling jelly. It's advertised as a super-hold jelly. I'll order that when I use the last Groupon I have left.
