OOOOh okay! What did you do to secure them? The clamps or roller pins.

I used the Red red rollers pictured here, and some black rollers (different brand) that were about the size of the purple ones in this picture.

And these are the pins I used.

And when I ran out of them, I used a couple of these:

Very nice. It looks healthy. Y'all are killing me w/ the trimming compulsion. I ain't trimming ISH until I reach BSL (and then it'll be a light dusting).

 Girl, it wasn't by CHOICE! Although I didn't have split ends my right side was at least 1.5 inches shorter than the left and it looked CRAZY! I let my stylist talk me into trimming the longer side. It looks much better now. Especially since I don't plan on depending on buns from now til hair goal.

Girl, you gonna be at BSL in no time! I got a LONG way to go! Hell, I can't even get to APL at this point!

It came out so good Famu! I have Macherie on my favorites so when I get up the strength to try rollersetting again I'll be following her steps. I always intend to do it, and by the time I finish deep conditoning, rinsing, and detangling, I am beat. I did one roller once and that was it.

Yay! I love your rollerset!! Gorgeous, shiny curls and hair!

I too use Macherieamour's technique and it really does work!:)

Absolutely beautiful!! Its amazing what water, NTM silk leave-in and serum will do. Did your curls fall at all? I'm curious 'cause you didnt put any setting lotion in your hair.

Wow! Your hair looks great! Girl, Im start taking tips from you!!!

Thanks so much for the shout out:D :D :D :D You hair really looks beautiful:grin:

Thank you Macherieamour and the person who listed her blog a couple of days ago re: roller sets!

Girl! I did my at home roller set last night using your tips and it's the best at home roller set I've EVER had! I ended up sleeping in my rollers because my hair wasn't dry before I went to sleep. I'll attach some pics I just took after taking out the rollers this AM. When I have another person in front of me I'll have them take some better ones.

BTW, I'm about 2 months post relaxer.

THANK you, thank you, thank yoU!

BTW, I used the hint to only use leave in and plenty of water. I use NTM silk leave in and I did add a bit of NTM serum while my hair was wet, and that was it! I also used the jumbo rollers not the grey ones because my hair is only a few inches past shoulder and I wanted to have curls for a couple of days.

EDITED: I took more pics after lunch and you can see how the curls are starting to fall a bit, but I haven't really pulled them out.

BTW, I know my face looks CRAZY! LOL!

Please excuse my dry/ crazy looking face. This was just taken moments ago!

 I waited too late last night to shampoo and DC, but I was hell bent on setting my hair since I don't really want to wear buns in the near future. I actually laid down with the bonnet dryer on! I only kept it on for 45 mins and finally just wrapped up the rollers and slept with the rollers in my head, which although not comfortable, it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.

WOW! Coming from you, that's amazing! Girl, from which direction to roll to how to clip, your directions were ON POINT! I've tried sets at home before but they NEVER came out right and I've always had to just brush them out. I went out to the store today and with all the bounce and shine a lady asked where do I get my hair done. I should have told her Macherieamour's Long Hair Care PALACE!
