I'm really getting the urge to perm my hair. I can't do anything with it cause it's nappy and super thick. And it's growing really fast, (thanks Br*nzeB*mbshell)!

When it's time for the touch-up, what do I put on the already permed hair that will keep the perm from overlapping?

Do I leave the perm in for about 3 minutes and then rinse it out?

By the way, my hair type is 4abcdezzzzz.

can't help you on the time but you can put vaseline or conditioner or something of that nature on the already relaxed hair

Also cause use porosity control or even some of the neutralizing shampoo to keep the relaxed part at a low pH.

Like one other poster said I always use vasoline or hair grease on my already texlaxed hair. It works wonders because I never have to worry about overlapping and my hair stays thick.
