Now - blkmane /images/graemlins/smile.gif the colors you used in the T&T might not have been light enough. Because the T&T DOES have peroxide (and so would lift the cuticle regardless of what's on it), your prior rinse shouldn't have been an issue UNLESS it was black or a very dark brown. In which case, depending on how porous your hair is it may not come out easily.
Let me know what rinse you put on and we should be able to tweak it a little. How long ago did you try to highlight with the T&T? How much of your hair did you do - my concern here is damage - you don't want to do TOO much TOO soon. /images/graemlins/shocked.gif
