Teach Me How To Cornrow!!!!

Ladies,

I am 3 weeks post relaxer and in a few week I have to start thinking about how I am going to stretch my relaxer. Even though I have fine hair my hair just doesnt know how to behave

I really want to go for a good stretch this time. I love cornrows because I love the control I have. You can have them in for a week or so, take them down. Get to and Look after your hair and put them back in. I am a little scared of box braids as I think I will lose control, plus I hate sitting there for hours!!!

Any advise, Any good web site or illustrations.

I have really learned from this site how to look after my own hair, if I learn this. Besides Relaxers I CAN BE SALON FREE!!!!

If you can find some one who dose cornrows and ask them to teach you. If not you could always learn by videos. My recommendation would be braids by breslin here is the link http://www.braidsbybreslin.com. Marquetta Breslin has a wonderful line of braiding videos.

Also check out some of the albums. Londondiva has some nice 2-strand twist that she learned how to do from Marquetta’s video. HTH

It's relatively straightforward. Tough part is getting the braid consistently as tight as you want. Better NOT to watch yourself in the mirror.
