At one time it seemed Surge was the best thing next to white bread. It seems as if the Surge era has faded a bit. Is there any one who continues to use Surge? If so, what are the results? Did it work or was it damaging?
 
I was on the 30 day Surge Challenge. I cant really recall if I had any new growth from it or not, sometimes it looked like reversion. I made sure to wash my hair every other day, to prevent any mishaps. I do recall my hair texture changing a little.
I am thinking about going back to surging once the weather is warmer. I still have a bottle and half to finish. I used one whole bottle last time, spraying my hair twice a day.
 
I still surge after I'm 4 week post relaxer. It seams to speed up the new growth before my next relaxer. I've been using it for about 6 months now.
 
whenever i can catch the beauty supply joint open that carries the ultra maxx i'll start back with the revitalizer 14...or i may juss breakdown and use castor oil on my scalp to combat any flakes..im not sure yet...next mth im gonna do braid styles so it may be a good time to whip it out

I still use the Surge 14 and I am getting great results. It doesn't damage my hair and I use it everyday. I do see growth within 2-3 weeks from using the Surge 14. I also use Lotion Motion #9 and the Woojee Cream. Great products! I have no complaints.
 
I am natural and still using surge. In my second 30 days and no damage. I have seen growth, and that's why I am continuing.

I didn't believe it was going to work in the 14 days that they claimed, but it actually did work that fast in certain spots, and those were the spots that I got flakes in. I don't have the flakes anymore so thumbs up to surge.
 
I have been using it for 2 years now and love it the best benefit from using surge on my hair is thickness and strength plus detangling.
I get best results with surge when wearing braid and I can spray everyday.
 
I still surge faithfully and religiously. It's definitley a keeper for me. I use it 1-2 a day. I love it. I use the spray BTW.
 
I've been using Surge Plus 14 for about a month now. I just started using the Motion Lotion #9 two weeks ago. So far I'm loving both! Especially the Plus 14 because my new growth's texture has changed and is much softer than it used to be. My problem spots have improved a great deal! I'm not having any breakage, no flakes, nothing bad. It's all good! :grin:
 
I use surge but only at the last half of a relaxer cycle, when I go into cornrows. Otherwise it would be too inconvenient.
 
Surge was fine until I used on the length of my hair.....then all hell broke loose. Tangles and breakage. I think as long as you use it on your scalp its fine.
 
I am still using Surge 14 and will never stop:D . I love it:yep: . I have gain the most length ever while wearing braids. I only use it on the scalp -never on the length of the hair. Also I only use it 4 weeks post relaxer & beyond....
 
I was wondering has anyone else tried the new improved Surge I found myself reaching for the old bottle after using the new Surge for one week.
 
I've been using this, since last March 2004. it made my scalp flake and scab when i begun using this producct, thankfully but i haven't had a problem in a long while, it definitely aids my hair growth rate especially when i wear protective styles and conditioner wash often, i use it twice a day.
 
I use the spray for detangling after I wash my hair (used for past 6 months), the Moisture Aide as a leave-in(used for past 2 weeks) and the ultra max as a daily hairdress(used for past two months). I havent noticed a difference, but then again I think something is wrong with me because I havent noticed a difference with any of the other products I have used either :lol:

I used surge 14 for the whole month of January and it definitely speeded up my growth rate, but I didn't like always having the 'wet look' so I stopped when the challenge was over. Plus parting my hair twice a day to apply it was a little too much manipulation for my hair to handle. I might try the Woojee cream or the lotion #9 soon, or if I get braids I'll the regular surge again.
 
Still going strong like the Energizer Bunny :up: You can't even tell by looking at my hairline that I pull my hair back tightly most days of the week (bad girl I know :whip: I'm curious about the other Surge products though, how have they been working for people? I've only used the 14 spray...
 
I love Surge 14!! I use a pointed applicator bottle to apply it to the scalp with WGO. I spray it all over before roller sets. It has really made a difference in the thickness of my hair (along with other healthy hair practices). Other family members have had really good results also. My father's bald spot is less shiny and seems to have new little hairs sprouting. ;) I just got box braids so now I am using Surge straight 1-2 times a day. I am excited to see the results of pure Surge. I just bought the Power Wash shampoo. It is definitely a staple in my arsenal.

I'm using surge while i'm in cornrows now. I spray the whole top of my head with Surge, and then follow with scurl along the whole length of the braids. Do you think that's okay? Or should I use the applicator tip and try to apply it to the scalp only.
 
I am liking Surge. I have noticed that it made my new growth softer and thicker. I like it and will continue to use it.
 
I haven't seen the new surge yet, but I just started using my surge again after stopping for 2-3 months. I like using it w/ braids. My hair always take off and grow when I use it consistently :yep: !!!!!!!!!!!
