Congratulations to all who have taken the plunge and BCed. And much love to all who are transitioning. But uhhhh :look: where are my staying relaxed ladies???

I'm starting to feel like an endangered species around here as of lately.

I'm staying relaxed. BTW JenniferMD, ur album is an inspiration--I'm tryin to get some bouncy curls like your avatar pic

I am going to stay relaxed for a while. However, I am thinking about transitioning. I am looking into locs.

Congrats to all the BCers... :)

I'm staying relaxed too tho....still have a goal to reach. :)

I'm stayin relaxed. :) I attempted transitioning last year and I just don't have the patience for it. The BC has worked well for all the women I've seen on the board but I don't think it would be a good look on me. :ohwell: I must admit with all the BCin' and transitioning goin on around here I am startin to get the itch. We'll see...:p

i know what my natural hair was like and i miss it soo bad. ive tried the relaxing thingy for 5 years and the state of my hair gets worse not better. so im going back to natural. it was fun being relaxed though :)

I'll still be rolling strong with the creamy crack fix....
Phyto'ing until I can't Phyto no mo...no desire for anything else.

Good luck to all the BC'ers/Naturals/Transitioners though....

Here I go! I love my hair how it is now. I love when other people say they are going natural because that's obviously what they want to do, but I know truly that that isn't for me.

Here I am, I'm kind of new here I guess even though I have been here sense 2003 because of my schedule I don't post much lol, I'm staying relaxed for life lol. I can't handle natural at all.

I am so happy to see all of the BCers & transitioners. I love it when we embrace what GOD gave us!!

It's great that many have chosen to do the BC/to transition.

IMO, I too am embracing what God gave me...free will....and I free willed myself to the store and got me some Phytorelaxer.

Again, the best to all who have chosen to do the BC/Transition.

I was natural for 21 years, I have now been relaxed for 25 years. I may go natural again one day. For now I am staying relaxed.

Oh I will be transitioning for quite a while. There are many women who look fabulous with their TWA framing their face. I, however, would look like a dirty Q-Tip.

I enjoy stretching my relaxers and playing in my new growth, but I really love the managablity that relaxers provide. I will always love looking/stalking natural hair ladies albums and reading their posts, but I am staying relaxed for now.

Well i'm transitioing for awhile to get rid of my textrelaxed length. However, I will texturize lighly for 5 minutes on my newgrowth, this won't be until next summer though i want to get a lot of growth before gradually snipping away my textrelaxed hair, but for now i'm not relaxing.

And I'm right behind you Princess!

I hope Mom is feeling better!!!!! I came home about two weeks ago to get a touch up and let me tell you being back in Brooklyn and going to the Dominican's was like being in the Bahamas. I was only there for oneday. I felt like I was at a spa, they really take care of our hair!!!! I went to the one on Broadway and Myrtle. It was nice to see soooooo many black women taking pride in their appearance and simply just doing the damn thing! There was sooo many young girls spending their allowance to make sure their hair was tight. I didn't want to leave, but I had to bring my tail back to VA. I did find a dominican person that works in the Salon in the Mall here in Newport News. If anyone would like further info holla!!!
