Supernatural Experiences

I too have also experienced the "sleep paralysis" where I would hear my alarm clock or my mothers name telling me to wake up but being unable to move or speak.

I also wonder, are there only certain individuals who posses the gift to being able to see angels? I would love to see an angel and be in the presence of its beauty!

I remember having a dream once that scared me so bad where a voice asked me if i wanted to go go into the spiritual realm. I saw a demon and I started shaking and moaning out loud. (This has never happened to me before). Because of this experience I have to be mindful what I allow to enter into my mind, body and soul. Reading all those "singers and occult/witch craft" threads have really made it uneasy to sleep at night.

I also remember a week before my grandpa died, I had this strange feeling like I knew he was about to. Even the day he died and my family and I went to the hospital; I just felt an eery presence, and I knew at that moment he had died.

Before I was saved, I was possessed by a demon(s) (not really sure if it was just one). I could never say Jesus' name unless I was cursing it. I used to stand in the bathroom trying to say Jesus' name, and it would literally get caught in my throat like I was gurgling cough syrup.

Now, about five-six years after I noticed this I was sitting at the dining table with my mother. I cannot remember what we were talking about, but I tried to say Jesus' name, and she noticed that I couldn't. Her face went from lighthearted to real serious. The next thing I knew she was calling on Jesus' name and casting the demon(s) from me. I remember standing up and going to my room. I stood at the bed post and literally felt something(s) heavy leave my body.

I realized that I could say Jesus' name. So, I prayed the sinner's prayer again (I had been saying it for like a year or so) and I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit for the first time. After that I was standing at the edge of my bed and I heard two (again, not sure how many but I know it was more than one)....things...talking to one another in a language that I couldn't understand.

It was an interesting experience, and one that I will always be thankful for Lord.

Also...

I can sense physically sense the presence of demons around me. I can sense them when they try and wrap themselves around my body. I can sense them in my home (and I can sense them on other people). Of course I call upon the Lord to remove them from my presence. My mother has this same...gift. She is really bothered by them, especially when she is trying to sleep. (ETA: I'm not saying they have any power over her, but that they are persistent in trying to disrupt her sleep)

More importantly than physically sensing the presence of demons is knowing for a fact that you are filled with the Holy Spirit. I know I am (as does my mother) because we can both physically feel Him. We can feel His absence when we've done something wrong. We can feel His presence telling us that He loves us and will never abandon us. My mother told me that her Grandmother was the same way (except it was in more of a negative light-she was terribly bothered by demons. I guess you could say she came from an old school of thought-old wives tales. My mother told me she used to pour salt around her bed to get rid of the demons).

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that my family has a "power" from ourselves. I believe it comes with the presence of the Holy Spirit and the gift of salvation.

Also....

I once was in the mall and wanted to get my ears pierced (I have a long, emotional story about ear piercings and how they related to the Lord). When I turned to Icings, I felt this really strong "wall" telling me no (the Lord, of course). So, I turned around and walked to Macy's. :lachen::lachen::lachen:

Also...

This is the last "also" lol. When I was a little girl, I used to talk to what my mother now believes to be a demon. I remember his name was Charlie, and I guess he was sort of like my friend or something (creepy, I know). My mother told me that she would hear me talking to this "thing" and it would creep her out. We used to have serious conversations. My mother said that she would come into the room because I was supposed to be sleep. She would turn on the light and I would be sitting straight up in bed. My mother said that she got this really eerie feeling and felt something go into my closet. Now, I have no idea what we "talked" about. I wasn't more than four. It's such a distant memory.
