Who is enjoying their hair for the summer?

...I know I'm not.

Hopefully next summer will be a better hair summer.

I am! I have been wearing it down everyday so I have been enjoying it for that reason alone.

I think mine is the perfect length for wearing it down in the summer because it is not too long to make me feel too hot.

Hopefully it will be soon, but for now I am enjoying the length that I am this summer.

As much as I love to wear my hair down, this humidity is making it almost impossible! Over the weekend I bought the aveda anti humectant pomade. I will see how this works when I wash & rollerset tomorrow. If this fails me I forsee buns & updos in my future

This is sooo true!! My hair literally swells to a boofont!!! This happened to me on the 4th. Tryna be cute wit hair down + riverfront (water) + humidity = hot a$$ mess!!! CHAKA

I Have been wearing mine in a little bun during the week and I rollerset it on Saturday night for church. It is too hot for that hair to be draped all on my ears and on my neck and I am the type that will get to sweating in a minute.

I haven’t been conditioner washing daily this summer, so it's mostly been in buns and puffs. I did wear it "out" on the 4th at my SO's insistence, and I'll probably do more CW until fall.

I've been loving my hair all summer. It's the longest it's been since I was a kid and I've just been rolling it at night to avoid using direct heat and it's working! I wake up with curly, shaky, bouncy, swingy hair. I was just shaking it after walking down the hall at work. Just shaking it and walking (laughs).

My hair isn't what I consider long, but it's long for me and the healthiest that it's ever been! I'm in love and loving it.

I'm not. It's hot and I don't want anything on my neck. When I do attempt to wear it down, it looks thin so back to the pony tail.

I hadn't been until recently. I was rocking my afro puff--which people love, but I am SO OVER IT! I finally was able to break it down into two puffs which I like a lot better.

Right now it's in double strand twists which I love because I don't have to do anything. I'm happy now

Although I am used to wearing my hair in a ponytail or (full) bun, I have been sporting a new bun which is much smaller. I am not using any type of ponytail holder, just twisted with a hair pin so it's extra boring.

I am in the process of stretching for the first time and i can't do anything with my hair but pull it back and put a wig on. I love the wig and its so convenient b/c I don't have to worry about my hair, but it's hot as heck under here.

I love my hair this summer. Because it is in box braids and there is nothing to worry about. I do miss my hair being all huge and Chaka Khan like because I love huge dramatic hair and summertime humidity always delivers that. Oh well. Maybe a little later.

I am definetly not. I don't like protective styles and it is too hot to wear my hair out. I have been wearing phony/pony and I am not happy. I tried the wig thing and was sweating like crazy!!!

Im tired of natural looks and I want to wear my hair straight....but in this 90 degree weather...my naps would revert in the quickness. I am looking forward to the fall and the cooler weather so I can get my hair pressed/flat ironed.

This is the very reason why I wear a wash 'n go, or pony-puff. There is no use fighting Summer humidity.

it's called MYHAIR...i tried to find it online for people but the brand doesn't come up. the package has a rainbow of colors on it.
