SO tell us how things are going! And its time for BLITZKRIEG!! give your hair 110% these final 2 weeks!! I will be back to report my progress!

My hair is doing pretty well. I just came out of braids and it looks like I have gained up to 2 inches or more in some areas. My hair grows funny like that. I am just keeping it moisturized daily and taking my biotin.

well i'm doing good but to some degree my challange is over. i have to press my hair to prepare for my pageant. but i am deep conditioning right now and i will take care of my hair pressed and protect my ends( bought a new ponytail!)

Let's see... <ul type="square"> [*]No setbacks to the hair itself

despite earlier chemical scalping

[*]scalp has healed [*]Hair visibly longer - the protective styles have helped a lot in helping me retaining length [*]Intensifying moisture to my hair since increasing my workouts [/list] That's it!

sometimes, i can get really fustrated with my hair. Sometimes i feel like i am making progress, other times i just don't know. It is really depressing looking at pictures of what my hair looked like one year ago, or better yet two years ago. Sometimes i wish i could change back the time to october 2002 when that lady applied that relaxer in my hair and it broke off. i wish i knew how to take care of my hair before, but now its too late. and everytime it seems like i am making progress, i have split ends again, or my hair doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. How did my hair ever get like this?...

Dont despair Island girl...just keep at it, try not to obsess about it, and it will progress...I promise. we all feel like this at times.

My hair is doing quite well. I have tweaked my regimen a bit. So Now my hair is much softer ( too much protein). I am keeping my hair in 2 strand twists and making sure that is moisturized. I am happy.

well island girl i can relate-- sometimes I feel like wow-- my hzir is getting there then I see someone on the street with hair thats shorter but just soo much better looking than mine. I mean i got the whole length thing down-- meaning my hair grows fast but this shedding and breaking seems to have no end in sight and sometimes i get a little teary eyed as I see my hair line continuing to thin despite my best efforts. But the only thing i can say is dont give up hope and keep working at it. I am the type of person who will not give up until i reach my goal and I know you are too because you are from the virgin islands like me!!

My challenge is going alright-- I had to stop the cpr 32 day recipe because my hair started to get that too much protein feel but it did help to thicken my ends. I am defienely going to go natural so i have not decided on whether or not i will relax at th end of august but I am dying to see the length I have achieved without the shrinkage.

hope all is well with everyone else!

All is going wonderful. I'm very pleased at my results

Everything seems to be ok here. I had scalp burns from last relaxer as well, but they have healed!!
I wore my hair in a high ponytail for a long while and I am slowly getting back on the vitamins! My goal is to gain another inch by the end of the month!

nyambura, lunalight, luvhair, and ineedmoney, thanks so much for the words of encouragement. It can get stressful and obsessive sometimes. thank you ladies

My hair is doing ok. I can't really see much gowth at the moment. But I have found a few products that really work on my mair. I've seem the best results with Wild Growth Oil and Herbal Essence leave in. The combination really softened my dry hair. I'm still wearing my "phonytail." But I have to change it up once in awhile or my ends start looking thin.

Goshdarnit, I thought the challenge ended at the end of September! :wallabsh:

Anyways, my hair is doing fine. The newgrowth is causing me great pain, and it is now growing in REALLY thick. (Starting to believe in scab hair) I think I may not be transitioning for the two years that I hoped. I may get the permed hair chopped next April and then hide whatever little bit of hair remains until I have enough near bra-strap again.

My hair is doing well also. I'm getting my touchup this week (on Thursday), and I'm hoping that I'll see growth progress. My roots are definitely thick &amp; I have a lot of new growth.

As long as my stylist doesn't get scissor happy on me, I should be fine!! I'm doubtful that I'll touch bra-strap after this retouch, but my original challenge was to do that by my b-day (in November). I'll be posting my before &amp; after pictures at the end of the challenge.

I think my hair is doing okay, despite the layers I had cut in, I do believe my hair has grown. I am just going to continue being patient and consistently sticking to my regime
