Hello my fellow LHCF members :hiya:

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything here. Some of you may know me and some of you (especially the newbies) may not.
I joined way back in 2008 on a quest for long healthy hair and managed to get to hip length by the end of 2011.
However, all that hair has got to go having realised that relaxing is no longer for me. I'm now transitioning to natural and have been doing so for just over a year now.
Which has led me to what this thread is all about...

I'm doing some research into the demand for natural/afro textured lace wigs for a new online business.
I would really appreciate your feedback.

Below is an example of the type of wigs I would like to start selling and they would be available in different lengths, colours and curl patterns.

In some of the photos below, I have placed the wig behind the hair line and covered the front with a little of my own hair to show that that can also be done.

Examples of pricing:

14inch, kinky curl - indian remy lace wig £150
16inch, Afro kinky - chinese virgin hair full lace wig £280

Naturals and transitioners... we can fake it til we make it!
Relaxers/texlaxers... you can go for the natural look without having to transition!

Please vote in the poll.

Thank you for your support.

I would like to have a natural wig but I would like a shorter one, somewhere between 8 and 11 inches. I'm not sure that these are in my price range.

Natural wigs are hard to find though. So if you can make some nice ones you will have a market.

I voted yes, but would not buy because I usually do half-wigs instead of lace. I would probably go for shoulder length too. Good luck in your venture!

i like it a lot. i usually wear half wigs though.

i would consider lace if i could get it to look right.

Wow, these look great! I would pass the information along to friends and family that wear wigs.

To be competitive, cheaper price hair that is good quality could result in more sale. I am interested but converting the pound to USD, it's too expensive.

I love the idea, but, like another poster said, after converting the pounds to dollars, the price is super expensive considering we all have access to vendors overseas with kinky curly hair. If they were of superb quality though I might consider :)

I like the idea. But I would prefer something shorter, maybe shoulder length. And the price is a bit out of my range. The hair also looks a bit like blow dried natural hair, which wouldn't work for me as I don't straighten. But again, I like the idea!

I love the idea. I'm curious about the hair, is the cuticle in tact? I'd be very concerned about matting. The other thing is will the hair shed because curlies need a lot of manipulation to maintain.

I would like to try one on to see how it looks on my face. I rarely order online, especially if the return policy is not feasible for wigs.

I love the Finger Comber wigs because they match my hair perfectly and the owner is a black woman. Plus, the price is right.
