I would like to know if there are any naturals out there that notice their strands after washing is still straight in some sections and you continue washing, flat ironing/pressing your hair and your hair is still growing with no breakage or problems???

Sorry for the run-on!!

sorry no my hair is curly each time that i wash it regardless of if im straightening or not.

I haven't noticed this.........but I don't straighten more then 4 times a year.

Your hair can still grow, without breakage, after you have permanently straightened it over time with heat. I have done it in the past. Some naturals don't like that form for "heat damage" some do like that form of "heat training".

No issues on my end. I've never had strands stay straight.

don't have that problem and i heat straighten my hair twice a month. but you must know what you are doing and not abuse the heat, if you don't want burnt straight natural hair.

I think the key to not having the straight pieces is to slather on your DC before every flat iron.
