Split ends on top? ADVICE Pleaseeeeeeeee!

Today as I was combing my hair.. I saw not 1, not 2.. not 3.. but quite a few hairs that are really short (on top of my hair) Hmmm. So I'm thinking it's either 2 things.. I've had breakage, which wouldn't suprise me considering how I treated my hair in the past OR this is new hair growing from previous breakage.. Oh God I duno I shouldn't laugh, but I duno what else to do.

Do I cut them off? or just leave them.

I get scissor happy sometimes but I'm trying to restrain myself. I only want to trim when I have to. I really want to grow my hair long

See before I joined this website, I wouldn't have even noticed. But now I'm health-crazy about my hair.. I notice everything lol.

They can just be newgrowth from after your hair shedded. I think you'll be hard press to find someone that doesn't have those.
