Spin Off: Love Me When It Hurts

After listening to Avant's Love Me When It Hurts, I decided to pose the question. When you're hurt and I mean really hurt, the last thing you tend to think of is love.

Can you give examples of messed up situation where you kept your cool, and acted like the bigger person?

IDK but I've always said that love shouldn't hurt, it should not be painful. But I guess those type songs sell.

Love is not supposed to hurt I agree - the song simply said, when you're angry with me or when something happens to affect "us" will you still love me? It's just like New Edition's song Can You Stand The Rain.
