hey ladies

I know we are all on our hair mission for ourselves BUT

does anyone have any experiences to share; regarding people not believing in you that you can reach your hair goals and you do reach your goals proving the naysayers wrong?

do a search for some of adrienne0914 's threads. I remember one where she shut up an ex who thought her waistlength hair was a weave. He was making horsey sounds, as I recall.

I don't think I'll have any, I don't have any friends/family members who have told me I'll never have long hair.

I do, I have a friend who is one of those I think I'm better then you. anyway she has always worn weave in her hair and her hair is really short. so about 4 months ago we where on the phone talking about hair. she was telling me how she cut off her hair because she had a bold spot and the relaxes and weaves weren't doing anything for her hair anymore.
so i tell her that I was going to do the Crown and glory to grow my hair to BSL. this girl is going to tell me I don't think your hair can grow that long
so why wast your time. I just simply said only time will tell.

My family wants to see if I can grow my hair with out cutting it off.
I'm my own SHS.

ETA: If i grow my hair that long she will not be happy because to her, my hair has always been a step up from hers and remember she already thinks she is better then me and everyone we grew up with lol
