Hey yall,
I just recently discovered the magic of adding evoo and honey to a conditioner. It has greatly increaseed the slip and moisture that i get after condioning. What else do you put in your conditioner for moisture, strenght ect.
Thanks

I sometimes add castor oil...I really like adding essential oils, especially pepperment, rosemary or Eucalyptus for that special tingle. I like sweet orange oil, lavender and ylang ylang for the amazing aroma.

I like mixing lite protein like GPB, heavy protien like K-Pak and moisturzing conditioner like Kera Care plus olive and shea butter oil. Awesome:)

Hey Star, where do you buy your shea butter oil from cause I have been wanting to add a thicker oil to my conditionerThanks

I've seen shea butter oil in oils shops and bss. However, if you have any unrefined you really could just melt down a little and pour it in.

I'm currently mixing ORS OOR Pak, Lustrasilk Herbal Cholestrol Carrot Oil and a few dollops of honey. I'm calling it my "Orange Julius Smoothie Deep Cond." It is absolutely scrumpious! It provides great slip, great moisture and my breakage has been minimal
.

EVOO, MSM crystals, coconut oil, WGO, lavender, peppermint, rose geranium esential oils.

well thanks to anky- i mix miss keys 10 en 1, emergencia and rivas silicon mix for a great super conditioner for my dry hair and ends.

I also add liquid aloe vera, glycerin and a little apricot kernel oil to my conditioners too. this helps beat the effects of hard water- softens my hair and gives the conditioner an extra kick.

Maybe Ankers should go back to this mixture....

MSM crystals (from a pet store) have made my hair stronger and I've had less shedding. I'm a type 4a/b.

I'm a little slow yall and possibly late and don't really post but what is evoo?
Sorry I'm ignant! lol!!!

I mix anything I have with honey and castor oil. Right now I'm using a mix of Lustrasilk's Aloe cholesterol, Nature's Gate Keratin, Emergencia & The body shoppe's Brazil nut conditioner....of course mixed with honey & castor oil and this time some hemp oil. Sometimes I add cinnamon oil and melted shea butter as well.

I go a little overboard sometimes....lol. But I put this on dry hair before going to sleep and rinsed this morning and I've been fondling my hair ALL day long :D

No it is ok, I just recently discoverd all this stuff myself. Evoo is Extra virgin olive oil. The best kind is the first cold press one. It is extra moisturizing and has all the nutrients from the olive

Thanks, I have to look into it, I normally use cinamon and olive oil mixed together and put it on my scalp b4 i add my pre-poo oils to my hair. I read somewhere that cinamon tightnes the pores. All I know is that it works and I shed less, at least during the washing process.

Thanks Sweet_Ambrosia and maryj1584! I'm going to try to mix it in when I deep condition tomorrow.
