horayyyy more hello's ! hiiii everyone. hmmm, maybe i should weave it up but im like ... in love with my hair now. lol i dont want to hide it but on the other hand ... i hate having to wash and condish and other stuff.


what about braids ? anyone every BCed then used braids as a protective style ?

re: products, u really might need to go the trial and error way but here are some of my staples

cowashers - aussie moist, suave tropical coconut, VO5 moisture milks
poo- african black soap, castile soap
leave-ins - CFCG, redkin anti snap, HE LTR, aloe juice
oils- cold pressed castor oil, jojoba, coconut, olive, avocado
butters - shea, avocado
DC moisture - aussie 3 min deeep, queen helens cholesterol
DC mild protein - aphogee 2 min, ORS replenish, lamaur bone marrow

I have not used weave, braids etc to grow out my TWA, just sticking to puffs, twists and corn rows etc

Afroveda has great products (shea amla and totally twisted).

In terms of drugstore friendly products: suave professional products esp. humectant is a cheapie but good condish.

the bio infusion line at walgreens has good ingredients. i used the hair lotion during the winter.

ORS products are pretty good. I think you own the best moisturizer they make.
