It has been a while since we last posted on this forum. Rest assured we have been keeping up to date with what is going on in the forum, and ensured that it operates as efficiently as possible so as to provide you with the best online experience possible.
A few of things:
It has come to our attention that certain members (luckily small minority) are being disrespectful/condescending to our moderators. Moderators try to help everyone and they do so by investing their own free time. Being disrespectful to one/all of them is not only a violation of the rules but comes with a permanent ban.
Finally, we also noted that some member are trying to "bend" the rules when it comes to cussing in the forum by trying to circumvent the censor filter using incorrect spellings of swearwords. Again this is a violation of our rules. This also comes with a permanent ban. Please ensure that you read your post before you click the submit button. We might not be able to catch everyone due to the sheer volume of posts on a daily basis, but the posts that we do see that violate this rule will not be tolerated.

A few of things:
- Some might have seen random outages on the forum for 10-15 minutes or so. Those were all maintenance related. Sadly nobody can predict hardware/equipment and sometimes they fail. This is why outages/maintenance breaks were during normal hours and not during the weekend. We do try to minimize these outages, but sometimes it is inevitable.
- We are working on deploying a solution that would allow you to have more payment options for your subscriptions other than PayPal. This has been requested numerous times in the past and until recently we were not able to provide it. Once we are happy with the new payment processor, we will make it available. Please note that we no longer create recurring transactions. That means that you will need to renew your subscription every 365 days, should you wish to, to be able to post in this forum.
- We are in the testing phase of deploying blogs for the forum. You will be able to share your thoughts on your own blog from the forum. For the time being blogs will be private i.e. only visible to members that have subscribed to the forum. We will require some feedback from you, on whether to make them public i.e. guests can read them.
- The change username feature that was present in our previous forum software is coming back this weekend. You will be able to change your username should you wish to.
