I got a text from Artemis last night to check out the Joico website.

On the website, in the press release area, they have the announcement for the new Kpak Color Care line which has a shampoo, conditioner, and styling oil.

Y'all already know I am going to be at Ulta as soon as I find out they are on the shelves.

I shall keep my eye out for this line! I read your review on the K-Pak line, soon after I tried the k-pak liquid reconstructor ….. wow! It’s amazing and i'm hooked! Thank you for the review

I am glad you like that stuff. It really works. One of the best products they make IMO.

:yep: The combination of strength, softness and general feel of my hair after use is just :spinning:; I’ve had a small about of breakage during my transition (trying to transition as long as possible before I cut my hair) but now with the use of this product, I’ve reached my destination ‘Retain City’ and I’m very pleased!

Ugh. That liquid reconstructor is mine when the BSS opens this morning.

I will keep my eye on this new color line in case I need to color my hair in the future ...

Taz! I'm glad I found you in here. I've been keeping track of my phyto girls and realized that you are also a joico girl like me. How much (like on a scale from 1-10 would you say that you love your Joico Body Luxe?) I'm looking for something to atlernate my K-Pak line with for some moisture thickness, and strength all together. Currently I'm using Mizani Botanify shampoo and Moisturefuse conditioner. Both work like a dream, but don't seem to provide any strength for my hair.

Also, my favorite daily leave in cream has been discontinued. Do you or anyone else have any suggestions for one? I need something with protein in it. I've been looking, but most leave ins are too gooky and oily for me.

TIA

Luscious,

Oh yeah, I use pretty much nothing but Joico and Phyto!

The Body Luxe shampoo/conditioner thickened my hair so much after using it once, that I got scurred! But I have now realized that I do want Chaka Khan hair so I will be trying it for a second time today. I think that I will be purchasing the Elixer today as well and then do a rollerset. I will report back on the results later today.

As far as a good leave in, I have been mixing the Mizani H20 nighttime with the Joico Daily Moisturizing leave in and I am in heaven. Perfect!:yep:

HTH!

..... :auto: Off to BBS before taz007 clean's them out! :)

You know that's right!! :lachen:

I was stalking the BSS this morning and purchased the K-Pak reconstructor leave-in and the Body Luxe Elixer.

I rinsed out Intense Hydrator that I left in over night, did a rinse with the Body Luxe conditioner, applied the Split End Mender to my ends, then the Elixer, and finally a small amount of Chi Silk Infusion. Then I rollerset with the Grey magnetic rollers.

I can't believe how little shed and broken hair there was!

I am under the dryer now. Will report back in 2 hours.

Wow, you’ve purchased it already! You haven’t wasted a second. :lachen: (Joico products are great!) Glad they are working so well for you.
Happy drying and I can’t wait to hear how amazing your hair is later :)
