I finally got it professionally done after God knows how long, and it was severely damaged. So damaged in fact, that I was going to end up with it short whether I liked it or not. I was trying to imitate Rihanna's 'do from Take A Bow here. Her hair was longer, but I'd say the cut still looks nice. My stylist brought my hair back to life and gave me a shine serum by a company called Design Effects. Almost two weeks later and I'm still getting compliments!

Thank you ladies! I was so scared to do it because this was the first time i ever cut my hair. I really did it because I wanted to start fresh and really learn how to care for it myself and do if right this time. When I was in my preteen stage, I was always somehow burning it out with a flat iron and breaking it off, and my stylist would scold me lol
