I dont really have a set regimen right now. before i was bunning 24/7. My hair was longer but thin and uneven when straight. Now i just wash and go and leave it alone.
I have heard mix things about wash and go. For some it makes their hair thrive and others the opposite

Maybe stop wash and gos to see if you'll get over the hump to BSL and beyond

Maybe develop a regimen with healthy hair practices to keep yourself on track. If you notice something not working, eliminate it from the regimen

If you need help developing one. Look at the regimens here, Grow It Long 2025, and other threads for inspiration

Happy Growing :)

Hey Ladies,

I'll be posting in here sporadically for a few days. I'm really struggling mentally and it's causing me to skip days with my regimen. I'm just going to do what I can but I'll check in to get some motivation.
Take your time and don't stress. Stress is the worst for our hair. Do some yoga, relax, and come back when you're ready. We'll be here :)

Adding Growth Flaxseed Gel to regimen

Hey y'all! :wavey:

I managed to get a little energy today and I did my regimen. I also did laundry! A LOT of laundry! :giggle:

I Co-Washed with L'Oreal Dream Lengths Conditioner. It's really good with detangling but it left my hair feeling REALLY strengthened.

So, I counteracted that with the L'Oreal Hyaluron Plump Serum spray and then I went in with Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie (this stuff has NEVER failed me!) and I put my Super Wet gel on top.

I was taking a good look at my hair today in the shower...my medicine cabinet mirror faces the shower so I was able to see myself. My hair is GROWING. And all that talk about thin hair, I think it's because my hair grows as different lengths, which is why it grows in a deep V.

My sides are around APL and the back is BSL/MBL.

I also came to a realization that I've grown my hair to Waist length about 3 times and Hip Length twice and each time something happened when I got stressed out. I found an old post of mine on here where I said so was Hip Length and I forgot about it (I also can barely recall anything that happened in 2021). But I do remember my hair grazing HL for the second time around then.

According to my findings, it takes me 3 years to grow my hair to grazing HL. I am now in the third year of growing my hair from a pixie cut and I'm halfway there! So I'm definitely on track!

If nothing else, these old posts are great for reminding us of when and how we achieved our milestones.

I can't wait celebrate that HL hair with you. (Three times WL and twice HL!? Jelly!)
