I've been using castor oil to slick my hair, but at 10 weeks my edges are a bit outta control so i need something with a bit more staying power... I used to use Jam back in the day and I'm considering purchasing a slicking gel (they kinda look like hard jello) to get me through those humid days with style!

I use Dove Weightless Moisturizers Define & Shine Control Gel - Its spectacular and smells so clean :D

I also heard that Elasta QP Glaze was good

I like the Glaze^^^^^
My hair is really thick so it takes a bit, but I found a BSS with a really large jar of it so I am set!

I us Elast QP Elucense. I thought it was a gel, but there isn't any alcohol in it. No flakes and unless I use alot, my hair isn't too hard. Just a firm hold.
