Good morning ladies. I tried searching for this answer but all I got was a white screen. Are any of you ladies using the silk peptide powder from FNWL? Is yes, how? You're help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, I do. I add it to deep conditioners and it makes my hair silky and strong. I love it. I can feel the difference as soon as I apply.

do you guys think the powder or the liquid is better? I'm thinking about buying some....

I use it and think it is the secret weapon in my haircare arsenal. One pound lasts about six months. I add about two tablespoons to my conditioner once a week when I deep condition. It makes my hair soft, strong, and shiny. Did I mention I absolutely love it?

Though I use the silk peptide powder as well as the liquid silk amino acids, hydrolyzed wheat protein, and marine collagen, if I had to choose only one additive, it would be the silk peptide powder. It's a light protein I use regularly that never makes my hair too hard or break; it strengthens as well as moisturizes/softens. I love, love, love it.

has anyone used both silk powder and SAA? which do you prefer?

A-ha, just the answer I was hoping for. I couldn't decide between the powder or the liquid. I had to re-up my supply of coconut cream oil from FNWL so I decided to get theirs instead of lotioncrafter's. After I got I got, I didn't have any idea what else to do with it besides slip some in my con... so 2 tablespoons huh??

I use both and prefer the silk peptide powder - which I purchase online at From Nature With Love - check stickys for the LHCF discount.

2 tablespoons is my arbitrary measurement. I hope you love it as much as I do. Make sure you blend well and keep it in an airtight container.

thanks for sharing this newflowers!

CG closes thread and runs to sticky to purchase powder! I need to stop coming around, everytime I do, I'm pulling out my wallet. But hey, it works for me.:lachen:

Hi Ladies,

Is anyone still using silk powder? I was thinking of buying some from FNWL & adding it to my conditioner, since it seems like a lot of people are having great results w/it.

TIA!

I think I might get some of this. I have a poo that has silk protein in it and my hair loves it.

This is how I use it too......I don't do it too often, yet silk powder is one of the only proteins that my hair can tolerate.

Ok, I broke down & bought 8oz of the the silk peptide powder from FNLW. It had such glowing reviews, I could no longer fight my inner PJ :nono: I will keep anyone interested posted about the results. I plan on adding it to my conditioner & to my homemade hair butter.

Thanks for the input:)!

Bumping as I have some coming...and I'm not entirely sure how to use it.

I am curious to see how this works as well. Are you buying cheaper products but pumping them up by adding the SAAs or powders?
