i parted my hair in half horizontally and used about a quarter sized amount for each section. I rubbed the butter between my hands, it melts enough to rub it through your hair and ends. I put it in when my hair is wet.

There's this youtube i frequent and she mixes hers with other stuff, and makes a whipped cream. Check it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9DY5zvIlpQ

her youtube channel is a great resource overall, check her out.

I got my Shea Butter from Whole Foods, but I know you can order it online.

Hey JNSQ!! Long time!
Here's CN's method. It's so much quicker and easier for me than how I used to do it. On her blog, she posts other ladies trying it

Thanks babe!!! This is extremely helpful :) And again, your hair looks amazing. Please let us know how long you are able to get this to last if you remember.

I love how your hair turned out. I'll have to try this style when I get my twisting skills together. Beautiful hair!!

looks fantastic Nichi! I will have to try this with my butters. For some reason I thought you could only use the knot today under kccc.
I use my KCKT under different things like oils, serums, other leave-ins. I only get "residue" when I put too much in my hair (I'm heavy handed). I find if I section first then apply its the right amount.

very pretty! how long did it take for your hair to dry? did you dry overnight?

Hey, I think I started doing these at 5am, and I sat under the dryer for 20 minutes and was so sleepy, I just went to bed. I woke up at like 10am and it was dry by then. It's totally dependent on your thickness

I like it. TJ won't but that's neither here nor there.

My baby luuuuuvs my twists. He had his hands all in it last night.
He wanted me to give you a message:

This method works VERY well!! Thanks for the inspiration...I tried it on my twistout last week and my hair was very shiny...there was a nice soft hold to it. The twistout lasted a lot longer than normal with minimal frizz. I tried kccc once before, but I just used a leave in under it and it was rather crunchy on my hair. I think the shea butter balances the hold of kccc pretty well...I also added a little coconut oil for shine, loved the result!!

Why am I just seeing this thread!! The shine is blinging and I love the curl definition.

Your hair is gorgeous! Did you use the shea butter before you applied the KCCC?

Thanks! Before and after. Before while my hair was wet, and the next day after my twists dried and i was undoing the twists, i melted some shea in my palms and lightly dabbed on my hair and ends.

I'll give it a try, I recently got my order of KCCC and like the results, but would love the results if my hair was softer. Thanks!!
