Used the Design Essentials Low-lye with Shea Butter relaxer for the first time. Client is 16, bi-racial with very beautiful virgin 3a/b hair. She wanted easier to manage hair and more styling options. I went with DE LLW/SB because I just wanted to loosen the curl and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. Clients hair turned out very beautiful (wish I had pictures) she was very happy with the results. Using the DE LLW/SB maintained the integrity of her hair (no over processing) and took her to a 2b (looser bigger curls) which she can shingle or twistout ect for low to no heat styling or she can blowout, with the option of flat ironing.
