Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted, school and work has turned me into more of a lurker around LHCF. After APL, I've just been bunning now because of my schedule. I've done so much research lately and went ahead and bought some shea butter and Kinky Curly Curling Custard and did something different this weekend. I loved the combination of the two. I then did curlynikki's twistout and i liked how it turned out. My hair's shiny and non-greasy and bouncy. I think I'll stick to this for a while and I just wanted to show you guys how it turned out.

I agree with everyone else. Your hair is fantastic! Good luck with your finals too. It is finals week for me as well so I feel your pain.

So, are you melting the shea butter in hands before? How are you using it?

Looks great! I was about to give my KCCC away but now I may get some shea butter and try this. Where did you get your shea butter from?

i parted my hair in half horizontally and used about a quarter sized amount for each section. I rubbed the butter between my hands, it melts enough to rub it through your hair and ends. I put it in when my hair is wet.

There's this youtube i frequent and she mixes hers with other stuff, and makes a whipped cream. Check it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9DY5zvIlpQ

her youtube channel is a great resource overall, check her out.

I got my Shea Butter from Whole Foods, but I know you can order it online.

Love it Nichi!

Where is curlynikkis' method?? Off to do a search...
Hey JNSQ!! Long time!
Here's CN's method. It's so much quicker and easier for me than how I used to do it. On her blog, she posts other ladies trying it

looks fantastic Nichi! I will have to try this with my butters. For some reason I thought you could only use the knot today under kccc.

I've never heard of that being the case. I saw the Knot today at the store, but I didn't get it. I don't think you HAVE to use them together either.
