shamboosie\'s 24-month plan

has anyone had success following shamboosie's 24-month plan using poos/cons OTHER than nexxus or dudley's...

if so, what products did you use instead?

my hair is not liking the nexxus line anymore...not even the keraphix. however, i really like keracare and wonder if i can use it as a substitute since the line is complete.

Although I have his book, I haven't been following Shamboosie's plan, but you should be able to substitute it with products that you find suitable for your hair. Not all things will work for all people, so use those that work for you.

u should check the book out at the libary, its a pretty good book. I wouldnt mind buying it. Basically the 24 month plan is for people with damaged hair and he is saying that u dont have to cut it all off, but with on schedule touch ups and trims, withing 24 months u can have a whole new head of healthy hair. I like most of his advice and already caught on to many of his product recommendations, the only thing I didnt really agree with is on schedule touch ups...he thinks they should be on time every 6-8 weeks.

I like Lisa Akabari's book better(Beautiful Black Hair)...I wish I had come upon it a long time ago but the funny thing is much of what she says is what we are learning here.
