Shall I straighten on the day?

I have a high school reunion type event to go to next month and am looking to show off my new length . I would like to know whether you think I should straighten it on the day of the event or the night before and then wrap it. The reason I ask is because
1. whenever i straighten my hair I always get all sorts of grease landing on my face, and...
2. I've heard some people say that the hair is always better on the second day.
Opinions please!!!erplexed

I would do it the day before just in case anything happens...i would just be safe. Also, for my, my hair always looks and lays better the day after a wrap. good luck to you.

I would do it the day before as well. Only because day ole hair looks better to me.

Day before for sure!!! Its not like it'll get dirty overnight. Also, if your hair is over dry next day hair might be better Just to be cautious, I'd say day before;;;
