Yes Yes. PJ here. I should be shame huh. lol
The Essations worked like a charm. I used it 3 times and that extreme pesky shedding is a thing of the past.

Not that I am a PJ or nothing

*waiting on mines in the mail*:look:

Tee, I thought you shedding cuz you needed a relaxer?

Have you tried the Qhemet Sidr Tree Butter. I want to try this one but I know I need to 'pump my brakes!'

Oh I posted on this one but I can't remember now. I really really believe that was a large reason of my shedding. After I relaxed, It just didn't stop though.

I already had my Essations coming in the mail. The funny part is as my friend stood relaxing my hair I was opening up my box with my Essations. So the week following my relaxer I pulled out the Essations.

Nope I am still on a test ride with the Qhemets Amla Cream. It's verrrry heavy but the last 3-4 inches of my ends are loving it!

I might try mine like this to see if I can use it up.

Hits:
Activate Hydrating Conditioner - very moisturizing and detangles well. I rinse about 75% of it out and the rest as a leave-in.

Neutral:
Beyond the Zone Noodle Head - not sure yet.

Misses:
Ultra Sheen Duo Tex - tangle city; hair did not feel strong

Revisited and always a hit:
Aphogee Treatment followed by Roux porosity control and moisturizing conditioner. September shedding reduced dramatically.

For me, there have been no products hit or misses, but another kind of hit:

HIT: Not using any growth aids since my last relaxer. I don't know why I even bothered with that stuff. My hair is growing just fine and it is actually doing better w/o it. :D :D

Hits

Hesh Amla powder. Huge hit. I will never do another protein treatment for the rest of my life.
Natural Rajasthani henna powder. Love love this stuff!!
.
Henna (cassia obovata) from Hennaforhair. I didn't really notice any difference from the brand mentioned above in terms of the quality. It still made my hair strong and shiny.
Pantene Ice shine conditioner. This left my hair soft and shine was amazing.
Loreal Vive Pro smooth intense conditioner (for dry rebellious hair that's thick) I don't know why I slept on this line for so long. Im always tempted to try this line but after reading the ingredients on the old bottles I would put it right back on the shelf. Anyway, I decided to give the reformulated line and boy was I surprised about it's performance. It made my hair very moisturized and shiny. I think this is better than Hello Hydration.
:love::p
Blended Beauty Kick for curls leave-in conditioner. This is extremely
moisturizing and a little goes a long way.
Coconut oil. I love the shine and softness I get from using it. I added some to my henna mix and also to my hair gel:love:.
Carefree curl gold instant activator. I love the softness and curl definition I get from using it but I wouldn't advise it for daily use because the glycerin in it made my hair too mushy and dry.
Puritan Pride Vitamins. My favorite brand of vitamins. I have no side effects from taking these and they work very effectively.
Pantene 2 in 1 full and thick shampoo and conditioner. It does work. After using it for a few days my new growth felt extremely thick and my hair appeared to be fuller.
Honey brother wild flower. The best brand of honey I have ever tried.I added 1-2 tablespoons to my conditioners. My hair was so soft and shiny after I rinsed.
Herbal Essences totally twisted curl scrunching gel. I used it for my wash and go and it was just ok for me. It was very light, smells great which I like very much and it didn't leave my hair crunchy. I prefer the totally twisted mousse over this.
La looks curl gel. It provides good hold but too much hold (crunchy) for my wash and go. I liked it better for slicking back my hair into a ponytail. I gave this to my mom after I discovered La Bella styling gel.
La Bella freeze and hold styling gel (super shine). I am inlove with this gel for wash and go and also for slicking my hair into a ponytail. I defines my curls without the crunchiness and the shine is awesome.
La Bella lots of curls styling gel (scrunch and set). Same review as above.

Undecided
Devacurl Mister Right. Not sure if I am feeling this. Need to give it another try.
Curls curl enhancing styling lotion. Same as above.
Jessicurl Rockin Ringlets. Same as above.

Misses
Curl Junkie coffe coco curl creme. I have not tried it on my entire hair only on a few strands and I noticed that it left a white film so I know that it might be a miss.
