Just remembered! (Stressful work week) What Are YOU Doing this Weekend to Nuture & Nourish Your Hair?

I'm going to Indigo. I 2 Stepped Last Week, but for some reason noticed some Red Shining through. So, I will re-Indigo for a few hours

Cowash with Claudie Deep Conditioner
Do a Quick Nexxus Keraphix
Apply Indigo 2-3 Hours
Rinse Out w/VO5
Steam with KBB Hair Masque
Do a Black Tea Rinse and follow up with HV ACV Phinising Rise

So....What About You? Happy October!:yep:
 
Probably just moisturize at some point with my homemade moisturizer spritz (Organix conditioner and water). Besides that leave it alone.
 
i thought about this post yesterday and when i went looking for it...i couldnt find it lol

i had taken my 2 week old braids out on thursday night

last night i...

finger detangled in the shower
did a bentonite clay treatment (just the clay and some water...didnt add anything else)
slathered my hair with ao hsr. i probably have enough on for 3 people, but every strand got coated.

today i will...

rinse. when? i dunno.
after rinsing the conditioner, i will do an oil rinse with castor oil

will twist my hair most likely tomorrow.
 
Last night, I prepoo with Hot Six Oil, clarifed my hair with ORS Creamy Aloe shampoo and touched up my gray roots with Clariol Natural Instincts in Midnight Black. I did a braidout for the remainder of the weekend.
 
The usual:

Wash
DC w/ Kerapro Intensive Treatment
Final Rinse with Roux Porosity Control
Leave in with Herbal Essence
Dry
Apply Sally's One n Only Argan Oil
Flat iron

Monday I will wrap it up and hide under a wig for the remaining week
 
I can't believe it's October already. :nono: I have a lot of studying and homework to do so I'm gonna keep my hair in my twists I put in on Tuesday. I need to shampoo my scalp so I may do that today. I'm gonna use my Deity America plant poo after I pre poo with coconut oil. Then I'm gonna DC with Curl Junkie Hibiscus and Banana deep fix- this will be my first time trying it out.
 
I'm doing a henna treatment right now. I'm gonna do a deep conditioner after but don't know whether to Aubrey Organic HSR or ORS Replenishing Conditioner mixed with hemp seed oil.

I pre-pooed, washed and conditioned last night. Today I'm planning on air drying, though I haven't decided on a style for this week. Maybe a braid out.
 
undo a couple more braids.....I'm taking up them all out next weekend, but I have to start a couple days ahead. That way i'm not faced with the daunting task of removing ALL of these braids in a couple hrs.

Pre-poo'd this morning with some random Du Gro oil I had around the house.

I was going to go get my hair cornrowed, but I changed my mind - didn't feel like washing it myself...so now I'm headed to the Dominican salon. Yay!

Eta: my sis is with me and it is her first time getting her hair professionally straightened since she has been natural, I think almost two years.

My hair is breaking, I think because I didn't rinse out the indigo properly. So i deep condished with AO Island Nats and I'm now twisting with Qhemets.
 
Thankfully I won't be doing much to my hair. Still gonna try and ride out this flat iron job for one more week. Thankfully I have enough hair now to where even with reverted roots I can still rock a really cute ponytail. I am, however, going thru on search and destroy missions. Taking advantage of my hair being straight to get my ends on point.

Tomorrow is wash day as usual so that means: shampoo, henna treatment, deep condition and 12-16 braids for a braidout.
 
DC overnight with AOHSR mixed with EVOO
Cowash with Tresemme Naturals
Oil scalp with peppermint/tea tree/EVOO mix
Giovanni Direct Leave-In mixed with EVOO
Airdry into donut bun
Maybe add four hanging curls via curlformers
 
co-wash with something i don't know yet
and do a twist out with the satin ribbon using KCCC for the first time. I'm really looking forward to it
