I really, really liked the avocado DC. My hair was so shiny and defined afterwards. I don't feel like it was very moisturizing on its own, but once I added my leave in and sealed my hair felt nice and moist. It almost felt more like a fortifying treatment if that makes sense. I now have a purpose for my avocados that get too ripe on me.

Just a note to self to use a blender next time... I had quite a bit of leftovers after rinsing.

I decided not to wash and DC today so I mixed up a blend of herbs and teas to use as a rinse instead.

I mixed together:

Amla powder, Kalpi Tone powder, Hibiscus tea, Black tea, caffeine powder, a dollop of shikakai powder, and Rose powder.

I add them all to a pot of water and let it boil and simmer for a few minutes.

When it's cooled, I'll pour some of it over my hair and allow it to sit while I shower, rinse and moisturize.

shampoo: Acure Clarifying shampoo
conditioner: The Mane Choice Pink Lemonade & Coconut Super Antioxidant & Texture Beautifier Conditioner

I twisted with:
leave-in: Nature Clean Herbal Conditioner
styler: The Mane Choice 24 Karat Glistening Gold Twisting Gel
oil: Afroveda Shikakai Hair Growth Elixir

I'm air drying and I'll do a twistout tomorrow.

It's late in the afternoon here in NYC but I managed to get in DC and resetting of my wash n go.

DC: Moroccan Argan Oil something or the other Lol..Its the only protein in the house and I needed it.
Leave in: KCKT
Moisturizer: Lustrasilks curl Max
Gel: Eco Olive Oil
Now I'm back and forth under the dryer and using the blow dryer till its dry enough for me to lay down on my couch and relax for the rest of this Sunday.
