The Labor Day Weekend is Fast Upon Us. Our last Summer Holiday.

So what are you doing this Long Weekend to Nuture & Nourish Your Hair?

I plan to make another attempt at Self-Relaxing Saturday

So What Are YOU Doing?

I want to have my braider refresh the braids at my edges. And then do my usual weekly routine (once braided up) Poo/cowash, tea rinse, then DC. M&S, and put on my headtie.

I'm gonna shingle with either Eco Styler or Shea Moisture Curl Souffle (or whatever it's called)

I'm sad because I should be shingling with Enso's gel...

I'll be doing a hot oil treatment (pumpkin on scalp & ojon on hair), shampoo scalp w/Nizoral & hair w/Elucence

DC w/Kenra,
Fo-Ti w/Black tea rinse

Rollerset using Alterna spray on the ends for hold

DC, shampoo, leave ins, slick back into a baggied bun with jojoba or vatika frosting, cover in phony bun. I love big buns. Can't wait til I get my own natural one :)

ETA: and accent it with some pretty headbands and silk scarves. Boho weekend!

It's my birthday weekend, so I relaxed my hair a couple of days ago. I'll be swangin' bone straight all weekend.

Nothing really. Just DC, twist out for 9/2
for 9/3 co-wash then bun
9/4 oil rinse, scalp massage, wash, air dry then flat iron
9/5 nothing really, working so doing nothing

I'm gonna do a black tea rinse--I've done two in the last 10 days, I think it is actually helping slow down this shedding. Yay!

I just finished a henna treatment now I am about to indigo then I will dc overnight. In the morning I am having my neighbor do some 2 strand twist. I am hoping the Shea Butter will be thick enough to keep my relaxed ends together.

I'll be taking out the rest of my braids, washing and doing a DC. Then I'll wash & go with my new found loves, Ms. Jessie's Curly Pudding and Trader Joe's Nourish Spa conditioner. :lick:

wash, DC, and back to cornrows. If the postal gods pity me, the wigs I ordered will arrive today and I'll have some new hair to experiment with. otherwise, I'll be moving from this:

heavily modified Freetress Creta Girl hw(color 1b/30)--i removed tracks and cut it.

to possibly one of the following--Freetress Celtic Girl hw in 2, Chade's Spring hwin 1b/30, or Isis TP04 in 1b/30, or Freetress Tracy in 2. Not sure as all of them feel like too much hair for someone who's always kept my hair short (like in my sig--which i need to update)

Heavenly Oil mix:
JBCO
coconut oil
EVOO
jojoba oil
WGO

Shampoo
First time black tea rinse
DC as usual
I want to do AVJ but don't know how/where to fit it into my regimin.

Hot oil treatment, light Poo, then avocado/yogurt/honey DC - thinking about blow-drying for a big twist-out. I know what works for a nice twist-out when wet, (my flax seed gel works fabulously) Does anyone recommend products for a dry twist-out?

I will be celebrating my 16th anniversary with hubby tonight. I will henna tomorrow and go through my regular hair cleansing procedure.
