Scuncii MagicBun... Rediscovered!!!! Video Attached!

I am soooo happy!!!! I just came from Rite-Aid and received a blast from the past. My mom would put these in my hair when I was in elem school over 15 years ago. Since I joined LHCA a few weeks ago, I've been looking for new protective styles and a new regimen for when I take my braids out. These are perfect for putting my buns in!!!! I can't wait!

Below is a link with video of a young woman showing you how to put it on. I swear it takes less than a minute, and the bun comes out perfect!!!!

wow, i've never seen one of those before. i'd like to use one of those but i'm not sure if my hair is long enough for that at this point.

I love these. I have not been able to use mine recently since my hair is about 15,000 different lenghts. I can never seem to get all my hair in it withought it being too tight.

OT: Humph, adopt you...you need to adopt me ashmack! :yep: Lovely hair.

I wish my hair was long enough for these.

I hated this thing. I used it once and didn't like the combs cuz they kept pulling my hair out. I was bsl then. I might try it on natural hair and see if it is better.

I don't think your hair has to be straight to use it. If your hair is curly you will just have a curly bun, which i think is really cute

Your hair is beautiful

I have one of these. I never could get it to work right. I try again. Seems like a great protective style.

I have two.

They don't work in my hair. And I can't get them to work in my daughter's 1A hair either. For sure, I'm doing something wrong. But I don't know what.

i just ran into my room to try mine on my curly hair and it was not a bun it was more like a horse shoe shape lol. This does work better with straighter hair or hair at thats curly that is at least apl or longer when curly:pullhair:

I'm sorry if it didn't work out for everyone. I figured it would help some posters that bun often. I'll see if I can find an alternative for natural or curly hair.
