Maybe I missed something but I think her hair looks great and healthy:confused: . The cut and the color looks good, real or fake. If she has "no" hair, then what do I have on my head...

   Ya know!!!!!!!!!!

This is still a weave.

OOOOh, I didn't mean to upset anyone if I did. What I was trying to get across was that....you will read in magazines "WHAT PRODUCTS" celebrities use to get their hair so healthy when all accuality its not their real hair...so who are they to say "this stuff works". I seen that a lot after Kelly Roland had put long weave in her hair...her articles were "get luscious locks like kelly roland" and then they will have a quote from her stating how she keeps are hair healthy and stops her "Hair" from getting split ends. Inside i'm like...its a WEAVE...can weave get split ends & breakage...

...I was just expecting that AT LEAST a celebrity "with all that money" even though they wear weave, after so many years that they would have long (BSL) hair...well thats what my standard is

I learned a long time ago while reading Teen and YM magazine that models and actresses hair are constantly being manuipulated and that the hair that they sport in magazines or tv doesn't reflect their actual hair! I never believe that some of these stars wear their own hair unless I'm up close to look at it. I wouldn't wear my own hair out if I was a star either.

So an article said this is weave she is wearing in this picture?

Weave can get split ends and breakage though because it is still human hair. You gotta take care of it also.

I think her hair looks just fine. Her hair looks healthy and that is the main goal of this site. I thought that this forum was suppose to be a tool for taking better care for our hair and not tear down women who wear extensions in their hair or whose hair looks fake.

I agree with you and I don't mean to tear her down or offend anyone.....i was just expecting more from a celebrity....that if your gonna speak on a product that gives curls & shine (ex:) to your hair...don't model a weave with curls & shine (not saying there's anything wrong w/ a weave) I feel like I'm being tricked into thinking a product will do this to my hair...that why I LOVE the lhcf.com I can't count on other 'things' to give me the TRUE results of products

I agree with you! Do you know how much stress would be put on your hair?
people wanting it "flatter" straighter thinner... Then people want to blowdry, fry and lay to the side, or some may want it puffy with alot of body..OMG! I'd probably kill someone if they put somuch stress on my hair after I got it in a very heathly state, so your darn skippy id be rocking a lace front all day everyday

it didn't say it was a weave.....I assumed because she was from the carribeans that her long hair was real. I though she was dominican or kincaidin or something

LOL. It's one of those ghetto things you say, but no good & well it ain't a real word, and can't half figure out how to spell it! I just had to sound it out den-a-mug! Yup....bald denamug aka balder than a muthaf****

Ok, you gotta explain? What does being from the Caribbean have to do with having long hair?

Umm, let me guess......people from the Carribbean are more likely to be mixed with something!!!!!! I really don't think the OP meant any harm. She was simply stating her opinion!

I do feel you on this. When hair mags talk about natural styles, they always show someone with a weaved head, or maybe a straw set made to look like a natural style. Show me natural styles on people who actually have hair like mine!

good4uuuuu and whipeffectz1 say it good. Like the product Ojon "people of beautiful hair" I believe they are somewhere in that region have long hair. In other words the 'media' displays most of the areas south...people of Jamiaca, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Barbados, etc have long hair

Hmmm, I'll have to find one of the 5011 threads that discuss that pic. But someone said the rest of it is pinned up in the back, or something like that.

This hair does not look fake to me! its quite short but just very well conditioned and healthy and witha nice color,, and yes I do belive she is obviously mixedd as so many from the islands are, ( my black parent is island) but this doesnt mean anything diff about her hair,, she just took care of it,, its not amazingly long so its not unbelievable that its hers!

It's VERY healthy. Shiny. Beautiful color. Thick to the ends. Straight. Styled well , elegant, simple. I just can't find a problem with it. It's a GORGEOUS head of hair...it looks fake more than real, that says alot.

it didn't say it was a weave.....I assumed because she was from the carribeans that her long hair was real. I though she was dominican or kincaidin or something ... i understand what you're saying...and she still may have a soft grade of hair...but hard or soft it's really pretty dont ya think ?

It's interesting how many of us don't want to be defined by our hair, yet we define black celeb women by just that.

I agree with seeminglysweet. Now, I am no fan of Rhianna or Beyonce but their styles are cute and fit them. And as long as they like it, that's all that matters.
BTW, how do you know that that is Rhianna's hair? Just curious.

I like it. I wouldn't automatically assume it's not a weave though. I don't know what length her real hair is, but me myself have worn a weave that was shorter than my actual length.

I'm just offended the OP called her a reggae singer.
LOLOLOL
Did my eyebrow not go up:lachen:

That's her hair and it's a cute choppy cute and suits her jus fine! Seen her with this style in person last year and the Turkey pulled it and the joy of wig pulling didn't hit him:lol: I think my hair is about that length? I like scissors:look:

These pics of Beyonce are a few years old.... I think Rihanna's hair looks fine. And when she came out initially with the first album she only had reggae songs. They marketed her as a reggae/dancehall artist. With this second album she's been singing pop. She's from Barbados.

Hmmm, I can see this thread is getting a tad heated...

All over a weave.:lachen:

It's cute, but yall that is not her real hair. And NO it doesn't matter to me one bit, but I am not one to ride no one's jock over hair that's not theirs.
