Reneice Consultation

Hey Ladies,

I am considering getting a consultation from Reneice but as a student right now I can't afford and install. I was wondering if any of you ladies that have had consultations with her in the past think it's worth it?

I've been protective styling with braids and I feel as though my hair is fairly healthy. I've been micro trimming and using quality protein products. I just don't want to feel like I would waste my money especially if I can't afford to be a client at this time. I think the Komaza Hair Analysis may be a good option if I'm trying to find ways to improve hair health and thickness.

You may be able to save up the money since the waiting list is pretty long. That may be an option.

I just went on Monday for spring consults. I am also a full time student. I am going to start with treatments and wear protective styles. Due to my hair still being tapered they couldn't start with weaves. But the stylist did want to do a treatment to see how my hair reacts and what products it needs. Then once this is done I can start with the weaves. They did recommend hair, I haven't look it up yet. But, I definitely understand where you're coming from. I watched Reniece'd video and she says on it what she did to aid with growth. Which is basically what you are doing. She also did say she took vitamins and used Njoy's oil. I also thought about the Komaza hair consult.

Thanks for the replies. I just worry because her prices are high and I feel like being a regular client is out of my budget, but I found the most wonderful braider in my family who did my braids so excellently I wanted to cry. I'm following the Crown & Glory regimen and using Njoy oil like she recommended daily. I'll be done soon and start working, but right now with a good braider and regimen I will stay on this track and when her next openings come up. I will bee first in line.

Can you share your braider? I need someone until I can do the weaves.

Request: As a courtesy to other mailing list subscribers who may be trying to get an appointment, we request that you do not post this notice on public messageboards/blogs please (even if you do not plan to attend).

I agree with the others, this should not have been posted here. I'm a current client of Reneice and as someone who got in by staying on that mailing list and constantly putting my name on her cancellation list, this is very unfair to the ladies who registered and were waiting for an opening.

It's amazing that the automatic assumption is that I blatantly disregarded her wishes not to post this on public forums rather than the truth which is I honestly didn't know that she asked for this not to be shared.

When I received her email this time, I remembered this thread and immediately shared the information without reading it. But I came back to this thread because I was tagged by @yaya24 and when I saw everyone's posts, it made me go back and really read the email because I typically look at the consultation date only.

Although I'm not convinced the spirit of the comments were kind or to be helpful, thanks to all for pointing this out to me.
