Relaxed Hair Moisturizers

When my hair was thriving, I was rotating between a pure moisture and protein based. Which ever one I used depend on how my hair was feeling. Then I got lazy and used only the pure moisture. I paid dearly....

I need the same help but I think once I start wearing my hair out more, it'll be in better condition to retain moisture from DCing.

I like Mizani Nighttime Rose H2O.
I just tried the whole Crece Pelo line (cheap) and I like there leave in. Might see how my hair likes it during the week.

But I know it won't be long till I'm tired of trying different products and go back up into my sewn-in weave.

I use Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave in. Very light and non greasy. I use it on dry hair and after I wash as a part of my LCO.

I fell in love with the AIA Leave In on dry hair. I have since gotten then Double Butter cream and the moisturizer from this line. They are all very nice for adding moisture.

Aphogee Curlific Leave In
Its in a spray bottle but has a nice creamy consistency. Its very hydrating.

Shea Moisture Extra Moisture Transitioning Milk
-this is even better when I mix it in my hand with a little of the SM Restorative Conditioner but perfectly fine on its own. This is the lightest one out of all I have mentioned.

Wow, I was just saying last night that I needed to find some moisturizers for my relaxed hair because the ones I used for my natural hair are too heavy. Thanks ladies, you guys are the best!

I love tha AIA cowash. I haven't tried any of the other products in this line. Does the double cream leave hair with a light shine?

KeraCare overnight moisturizing treatment.

It's amazing. It also works on both natural and relaxed hair. I think it has to do with the lower pH but it really does it's job. At first, I wasn't impressed (the morning after first use) but by the 2nd morning I was convinced!

My only complaint is that the fragrance doesn't match the fragrance in the natural textures line. It smells clean and fresh but it's noticeably artificial.

I will moisturize today and get back to you later today. I dont check for shine these days bc I am just twisting it up and wigging it all winter. Been wiggin it since September.

Never used the double butter on its own. Always over the moisture milk or the leave in but it can be used on its own as a moisturizer too.
