Relaxed hair moisturizers

I use Palmer's Olive Oil Hair Milk. It's kinda like the ORS moisturizer, but without the petroleum and mineral oil, which makes it much lighter. My hair seems to like this one more in the summertime than in the winter, though. I want to try the Elasta QP one.

I've been doing my own hair since late 2003 and I've just firgured out how to get my hair to love me. I've been using Carellius 7 Actives Leave-in Moinsturizing Brasilian Formula after conditioning my hair and then Organic Root Stimulator to moisturize and my hair hasn't stop thanking me. I seal with coconut oil and wow! I can't explain it better than to say, my hair feels soft as butter. I know I should just say I moisturize using Organic Root Stimulator but I believe it's the combination of all three things why my hair is doing the happy dance.

All of my past favorites were discontinued or the formulas changed so on a whim I tried Palmer's Coconut Hair Milk and was pleasantly surprised. Very moisturizing and you don't have to use much. Also has a nice subtle coconut scent.

Yes to Carrots leave in cream is great and smell sooooo good!

Are you using the DC or is there a line of Aubrey moisturizers that I don't know about? Also when you use it as a spritz what do you use to dilute it and what ratio do you use?

I alternate between the following:
S-Curl No Drip (New Fragrance Formula)
Cream of Nature Rosemary
ORS Moisturizing Hair Lotion
NTM Leave-In
......yup that's about it for me.
I'm intrigued by this Oyin Handmade Dew I keep seeing in this thread.....:lick:

I didn't know this was a moisturizer.

from the website:

CHI Silk Infusion is a rich leave-in-treatment formulated with pure silk, wheat and soy proteins that will penetrate deep.

This stuff has really helped turn my hair around. I use it along with a light oil.

sweetnikki_6, is this the Chi product most known for being a heat protectant that you're speaking of?

Onhergrind09, I'm using the DC AO product. I have used both AO WC and AO HSR, both diluted and undiluted. I dilute with water. No particular ratio - I like it highly concentrated for added moisture (low porosity hair) so I just add enough water to make it thin enough to spritz out of my bottle.

divachyk yes it is. This is how i use it: On wet hair before my roller set after my leave in conditioner which is just a palm full of my regular conditioner. My roller set comes out like butter. after that i use it as needed with the hair oil until next wash.

Kinky-Curly, Knot Today, Natural Leave in :yep:

This stuff makes my hair SOOOO soft. I just got it about 2 weeks ago. I mean, it'll just make the comb slide thru your hair. :yep:

Oh ok sweetnikki_6, it sounds like you're using it as a heat protectant on wash day more than a DCner. I must have misunderstood your posting. During the week, I see you're using it as a moisturizer. I never knew it to have moisturizing properties. I tend to only use -cones for heat protectant reasons so I'll trust you on this one chica. My low porosity hair cannot tolerate too many -cones without heat. Thanks!
