I've always loved long hair. Never really had it but loved it.
I would like to see how long I can grown my hair and keep it healthy. No sense in having long hair if it ain't healthy.
I also think most of us were brainwashed as little girls to desire long hair. You know the scenario... wrapping a towel around your head and swinging it around like hair.
1. I've never had long hair
2. To prove that you don't have to be mixed with anything to have long hair
3. I think I look better with it
4. To do styles with my OWN hair and not extensions
I want long and healthy hair. I had long, healthy hair as child and fooled around with is so much that I didn't even recognize it. Now, I am glad that the length and health are coming back
1. To prove to myself that I can grow my hair to waist length and have it healthy
2. I love long hair
3. Long hair is easier to manage for me than short hair
4. There's so much I can do with it when it's long
Hey paris...welcome hope you learn from and love this board as much i have grown to...
1) its so much more feminine
2) cuz ALL my female relatives have long hair
3) cuz it drives my partner wild when i flick it back
4) cuz i'm fed up of ppl saying 'god your hairs so short'
1. I would like a change. I've been wearing my hair in short and medim-length Bob hair cuts for 7 years.
I need to update my look!
2. I would like long hair by the time I graduate. It's a personal challenge.
I want to see how long it will take to reach my hair goal: Bra-strap length
I'm a hairy female. I feel like if I have fast growing, strong, healthy, shiney hair in all the wrong places then my hair wear it should be, my head, better be long and healthy. LOL
I really enjoy having long hair. I've had it in my childhood (long braids) before relaxing came along and at certain periods of my adult life. Those periods didn't last very long before something happened and my hair broke off. This time things will be different since I intend to maintain my hair growth for as long as I want to.
I like the way I look with long hair, although short hair looks good on me too.
I believe anything is possible, so it is a fun challenge for me to see how long I can grow my hair.
I think it emphasizes my femininity.
So I can assist others in growing their hair long too.
I look better with longer hair.
After a bad episode of breakage from using overly strong relaxers when I was a child I haven't wanted short hair since.
When I was a child, as with most of us, I had extremely long hair but I went to stay with a relative for a while and during that time my hair broke off. Since then I have never really tried to grow it out to see if I can come anywhere near my origianl length. But I think that long hair is more attractive, period. I don't want to wear a weave to have long hair. I'm in a small town and so many black women have seriously damaged their hair but mask it with weave. I want to have healthy hair that looks like a weave so that these people will see that black women can grow their hair so healthy and long that it looks like a weave.
