Used to be K Cutter but I have not touched it since I got my Tangle Teezer
I doubt I will ever give up the TT unless it starts to give me mid-shaft splits or something like that.

I use it on wet hair filled with conditioner or moisturizer

Why I like the Tangle Teezer
lose less hair
feels like all the shed hairs come out
easier to handle
thoroughly detangled hair

I probably should know this by now, but what's a 'Tangle Teezer'? I use a wide tooth comb or Denman depending on how many tangles I have to deal. Currently, I have a ball of hair that will take about an hour to detangle. HELP!!

Never mind. There's another thread saying that you can find it at Sally's (if there are any left). Forgot the name of the thread . . . sorry.

I detangle with a paddle brush on oil drenched hair before I shampoo. I can't remember which member I jacked this technique from but it works well for me. I very rarely detangle wet hair.

Sent from my iPhone using LHCF

I do this too. The only differences are that I also use conditioner to detangle, and I do one final comb-through with the Magic Star Jumbo Rake comb.

I love my ouidad double detangler. I've used it since July I believe and it has been great for my hair. The thing I like about it most is that I can detangle large sections of hair and as a result, it has cut down the time it detangles my hair significantly. It also does an excellent job of getting rid of the shed hair without causing breakage.

^^^ Ditto.

The ouidad detangler has helped with the intimidation I used to feel when I would think about washing and detangling my hair. The process would take so long that I dreaded it but the ouidad detangler allows me to work with larger sections of hair so it doesn't take as long.

Also, I prefer its comb like style because its easy to remove wet hair from it. Lots of brushes are filled with hair if you use them after shampooing and it can take a minute to clean them out. I haven't used the tangle teezer so I don't know if that's an issue or not. Can anyone commit on that?

I detangle dry on oiled hair

1. seamless combs-got me successfully through my transition thus far
2. Ouidad double detangler- on natural parts
3.tangle teezer- Last wash I used this and it gave me the same results as seamless combs, basically. I also liked this on conditioner soaked wet hair-good for removing shed hair too.
4 honorable mention- handled shampoo brushes left over from the last time I was natural- will still be using these
i do the same...i've tried for the past few weeks to try a less time consuming method but its not working out...:nono:

Well after taking out my braids. I'm natural btw. I realize I need a good session of detangled . I think I've never been able to fully detangled my hair before. Is it possible to be a 4a/4b type natural. and be detangled .

I always feel like it gets detangled again.

Detangle Process:
Section hair into 8 sections (4 on each side)
Select a section to work on and spray on leave in (Gioviani)
With a wide toothed comb I work from ends to roots
(then add goodies, s-curl and ors olive oil)
Style.

Quidad is the truth. I never worry about tangles with this tool!

I use a Jilbere in the shower and then comb through after with conditioner and my Denman. I'm wondering if I should start skipping the Denman step because I'm starting to think the extra manipulation may be thinning my hair. My hair isn't even tangled when I use it, I just do it to define the curls which is stupid since I then braid it anyway.

I use a combination of the tangle teezer and the denman...I want to try the Double Detangler!!

I detangle on soaking wet hair that's covered in Tresemme Curls. I use a wide tooth comb followed with a paddle brush

I absolutely love the tangle teezer! My hair has never been this detangled before and I loose alot less hair. And what's funny, is that my hair used to be split end city but they all seemed to disappear since I started using it!

I also use the jilbere shower come.
