I LOVE this brand. I received the text alert yesterday and have been watching their hints that it is coming. My hair is already pressed so I won't be using it anytime soon but I ordered the full line to try out.

You can pick all of it up right now at Target. The 808 botanical gel is available there too. It's been in stores for over a week now. I ordered online because the nearest Target is an hour way. Plus the bundle discount and 10% off coupon code makes it a better deal for me. JETSET10 still works and they texted that to me back in October.

I just renewed and just need to express. The makeup threads are dead so y’all will see me talk beauty w hair. I can’t get over how much I have enjoyed seeing ladies here talk hair which spills into all beauty aspects for me. It’s like something flipped and I’m like wanting to go run errands so I can put on makeup and play in my wigs. I use to try to blend in as there is risk but I guess being 40 lite I no longer desire that. I use to feel like a freak for things I like because of looks but common bores me. Im such a hard edge but understanding. But empathy for kids is my soft spot which I won’t work as I would be unhinged. I’m excited for our journeys.

IME, that energy attracts good things!
Yes, it also attracts vampires/leaches looking to drain that life from you. But overall, it has led to more good than bad in my life.


It's ok if you don't feel this vibrant every single day! And false starts are ok too! Not starting or not trying at all is harmful.

Just checked out the ingredients and the conditioner has shea butter high up on the list!! Boooo!! Boooo!!! I wasn't expecting that in a heat focused line.
ETA:
Checked out the other products and the conditioner seems to be the only one with a butter in it. I could get the bundle and give that to my sister or mom.

smh my silk press didn't even last a week before it reverted. This is why I kinda prefer protective styles. My hair never lasts long since I sweat so heavily.
If i'm gonna keep my hair braided up I could just trim it as needed. Naptural85 has a tutorial on how to do it. I've watched it a bunch of times.

I'm still loving JBCO especially when I have braids.

So I decided to do my hair by myself. I will postponed my hair trim until March/April. I did mini twists extensions using the Outre Spring Twist 1b. used 1.5 packs. It looks cute. Grip game is totally boo boo but I'll be able to maintain this for about 2-3 months.

My hair got so greasy so fast. It's really interesting. I don't use butters, oil, grease, or leave-in, and when I use a serum it's like a quarter amount for my whole head. Why does it take 3 shampoos for my hair to suds up ? That sebum must be thick thick

I finally made my way near a Target yesterday. I had checked in store availability last week and they had everything in stock. Now the only things they had in stock from the newest collections were the 808 gel and the gansta wrap foam. They might be sold out everywhere at this point. I'm glad that I didn't wait to order, but they haven't shipped out anything either. So its still a waiting game.

Did you get around to watching their Instagram Live? It was really informative. They will have even more of them related to the new items and give live demos as well. In case you missed it, Mya went over her Douxprints (hair architype/profiles) and told how best to use this new system based on the hair architype.

I definitely missed it! Can you give the gist of what the hair architypes are? And what difference would that make with how you use the Press Play Line?
