When I use WGO I put it on wet her, dry, and then straighten. Be sure that you don't put too much! You can always add more later.

I love WGO, but it smokes a bit too much for me during the straightening process, so I use Kemi-Oyl on my wet hair instead. I used to think that it was my flat iron, but I use a regular barrel curling iron one day and the same thing happen. Some ingredient in WGO burns when hot tools(curling irons, flat irons) touch it. I plan to only use WGO when I'm not pressing my hair.

When I was natural, I applied it on wet hair and blow dried till it was 80% dry then I flat iron. Don't be too alarmed if you see some because some of the oils have a low smoking point.

I'm not completely natural (about 85%), but I love WGO. I use it on my hair dry after I blowdry. It leaves my hair soooo butter soft.

:yay: glad to see resonses...

...bumping for more!!!
