Question about relax/"wet" look....

As some of you may know, I recently cut my hair into a pixie.

My question to some of you is, what would you recommend to use to give my permed 4a/b texture a nice wavy/semi-wet and hold look when I want to wear it sleeked back?

I tried regular gel :nono:. I even tried putting/leaving conditioners on while still damp :nono:. Even that IC clear gel :nono:.

Someone recommended Bumble and Bumble Sumotech. Have not tried it yet. Has anyone here?

TIA

When I was transitioning, I would use a leave-in conditioner, maybe a little oil, and then tie my hair down with a satin scaref while getting ready or driving to my destination. This helped create some waves for me.

Thank you.

So no one never heard of tried the Bumble and Bumble Sumotech?

For me to get a wet and wavy look I wash, don't comb, and add whatever I'm using at the time to deep condition my hair. I've used my Joico moisture balm and even used Mega Tek when I didn't feel like washing it out before work.....won't do that too often, though.

You should try EcoStyler Gel or Fantasia ic Thick n' Shine Styling Gel. This Thick n' Shine gel is much different than the clear ic gel that you tried.
