Q about baggy technique

For those of you who are also using this technique, is the hair in the baggy always wet? I understand the objective is to keep the oldest part of the hair "moisturized" and I understand that water is the best moisturizer but does that mean this portion of the hair should be wet for extended periods of time and is this beneficial? I've been using this method for several weeks now and have not noticed any adverse side effects. It seems from the posts that Adrienne actually leaves her hair in the baggy for several consecutive days. I've been doing the same thing. I am just looking for assurance that I'm doing this right since the ends of my hair never dry. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

It does stay moist. I go 3 days at max but, I take it off at night, so I think mine is not as wet.

Where are yall getting these different techniques from???

Hello Necy99 and AFashionSlave,

Take a look at the thread "Anyone doing the Baggie Technique?" that ran in early December. The link is Baggie Technique .

It may be spelled "baggie" or "baggy". I follow the method Adrianne described.
