protein rich leave in conditioners

Napp

Really? That made my cousins hair break off.

If I may ask, did she apply it as a leave-in daily? If so, her breakage may have ended as a result of "protein overload". This happened to me earlier in my hair journey, before I was up on the fact that Aphogee ProVitamin leave-in was protein rich.
I would apply it daily, and BOY did my hair pay for it.....:nono:

Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie (has some silk protein and coconut oil)
Aphogee Green Tea & Keratin Reconstructerizer (medium protein leave in spray). I use sparingly and my hair comes out nice and strong albeit a bit dry. As long as I put a good moisturizing leave in over this, I'm good.
Elasta QP Olive Oil Mango Butter: Has hydrolyzed wheat protein. Moisturizes well
Bee Mine Luscious Balanced Cream Moisturizer: Similar to Elasta QP. Has hydrolyzed wheat protein and moisturizes very well.
Darcy's Pumpkin Seed: Has hydrolyzed oat protein I believe. Very good.

From what I've read in the Silk Dreams thread, many of her conditioners with protein can be used as leave ins.

I second the Darcy's Botanicals Pumpkinseed Conditioner.

Shea Moisture's Curl and Style Milk as well as the Yucca and Baobab Style milk are both good as well.

Hydratherma Naturals Protein Balanced Leave-In
BeeMine Luscious Hair Crème
Claudie's Balanced Quinoa Leave-In
Claudie's Balanced Ends Insurance

Komaza care matani leave in
Silk Dreams mocha hair milk
Silk Dreams wheat germ butter
